MIB North Chez G* Short Story Contest
The obvious sequel to last year's Munchkin Poetry Contest, this year the MIB North website was proud to bring you the Chez G* short story contest.
What were we looking for?
We were looking for 250-500 word entries from our contestants, with a minimum of 10 different Chez G* card titles mentioned in the story. Entries will be judged based on meeting the 10-card requirement, actual entertainment value of the story, and basic things that may drive the judges crazy like bad grammar. To help you out, we even provided a sample story.
Who are we torturing with these stories the judges?
This year’s judges were:
- Alain Dawson, Chez Geek & Chez Grunt game developer
- Fade Manley, Warehouse 23 representative & SPANC game designer
- Walter Schirmacher, Regional Director for the North U.S. MIBs
What were the contest rules?
- Entries must be in a format and language readable to our judges (we'd suggest rich text (.rtf) or text (.txt) and English as a language, but we're not discounting other choices.
- For the convenience of our judges, the first occurrence of each card title should appear in uppercase letters.
- All submissions become the property of SJ Games, and can not be returned.
- All submissions must be sent via email to contests@mibnorth.com by July 17th at Midnight CST.
- Neither MIB North nor SJ Games is responsible for lost or unreadable entries.
- Decision of the judges is final.
- At the conclusion of the contest, the stories will appear on the MIB North website for general reading.
